Expansion Plans.
Bolivian Children’s Mission has completed the purchase of its first home!
After ten years of renting, it’s a major step for BOLIVIAN CHILDREN'S MISSION and now it is home for 30 children. We have aded a multipurpose playing court, have made a hole in the ground into a presentable pool and have taken half the garage and converted it into a school area for homework, project work and such.

Over the past two years we have replaced the leaky roof, put solar hot water to most points, a septic field, a gazeebo and tank and pump to allow water to be supplied to the washing machine. Added a bbq, outside oven and am concentrating on seedlings to ensure the garden reaches a greater potential.
Then for the future other things come to the fore. Technical training for the older children. Volunteer accommodations, put in a second story and a dozen other small things (some not so small).
A busy time lies ahead of us.

Three cows have been added to the motley bunch of animals and we have now been experimenting with yoghurts, cheeses and other dairy products. The idea is not to set the world on fire with wonderful eco-agriculture , be the answer to children's' needs in Cochabamba or a lot of other things , but simply to ensure that children we receive have an equal opportunity to those who come from privileged or stable homes.
We also need to be able to provide basic needs so as not to be reliant on donations for everything. Vegetables, eggs, poultry, honey, meat, milk and such all help to reduce outgoings and that means a better quality of care because we can dedicate monies currently used in purchasing food to other uses.
