Hogar de Ninos Valle Hermoso (Cochabamba)
Valle Hermoso is a children's home located just outside the city of Cochabamba. The home serves 15 kids from ages 4 to 17. Some of the children are orphans and others are there simply because their parents are unable to care for them. In December of 2002, Valle Hermoso moved to a new facility.

Valle Hermoso receives the majority of its financial support from Norway. They also receive some support from the USA and Cafe Yungas Grants.

Viva Bolivia partners with Valle Hermoso by providing leadership development, strategic planning and friend-raising services.

Aija, the Director of Valle Hermoso, is now living in Norway and helps as a volunteer to raise funds for the children's home. The day-to-day operations are run by Margarita and a staff of three other Bolivians. If you would like to get personally involved with Valle Hermoso or send them a special gift, you can contact Aija at torreav@gmail.com (Norwegian, Spanish or English) or contact us (English and Spanish) at Viva Bolivia to learn more about their dreams and plans for the future.

Currently, they are looking for sponsors (padrinos) for five of the children. Just contact us at the above addresses for more information.
